Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, implement, and sustain an Embedded Controls Platform roadmap by collaborating with Product Management, Procurement, and Engineering teams to meet customer and data needs.
  • •Architect and oversee development of an integrated embedded hardware and software controls platform used across product platforms and global regions, including functional safety, cybersecurity, connectivity, reuse, and modularity.
  • •Negotiate and collaborate with global stakeholders to drive high reuse and modularity, enabling region/product/customer-specific implementations and phased integration.
  • •Lead and manage a team of software and hardware architects, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations while exploring new technologies.
  • •Present an embedded control system architectural vision and lead controller platform work prioritization through participation in agile ceremonies.

Salary: USD 133,633.33 - 186,830 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • •10+ years of experience in embedded controls software and/or hardware development, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership or supervisory role.
  • •Ability to create and communicate embedded control system architectural diagrams, technical documentation, and solution blueprints.
  • •Knowledge of embedded control system design in HVAC-R, Automotive, or Off-Highway applications.
  • •Strong understanding of embedded control systems security standards and best practices, with experience in Agile (sprint planning/scrum).
