Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical input on urban drainage projects predominantly SuDS and blue-green infrastructure.
  • •Support development of engineering solutions from feasibility studies through detailed design and construction.
  • •Produce high-quality technical outputs, including reports and supporting drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • •Assist and support engineers within the team while working on bespoke, challenging projects.
  • •Contribute to the team through knowledge sharing and promote WSP’s SuDS brand through industry forums and conferences.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. civil or environmental engineering, construction, environmental science, geography).
  • •Some knowledge in urban drainage design and the ability to check others’ technical outputs prior to issue.
  • •Some experience or understanding of hydraulic modelling using industry-standard software (e.g. InfoWorks, FLOW).
  • •Competence with AutoCAD.
  • •Familiarity with industry-standard geographical information systems (e.g. ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo).
