Job Summary

As a Field Service Engineer for Cymer in Hsinchu, you will perform maintenance, repair, and qualification of ASML systems at customer sites, transfer know-how, and train users. You’ll analyze problems, coordinate with second-line support, execute repairs, and optimize processes while expanding your knowledge and mentoring less experienced engineers in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Problem analysis and approach: Gather information, analyze with available means, gather diagnostic info, decide on initial approach and execute, consulting with others.
•Repairs: Use tools, replace parts, adjust settings, to execute repairs and standard service actions independently.
•Training / advice: Explain actions to users, train customers in use and routine maintenance, recommend changes in procedures.
•Process Optimization: Identify gaps and improvement opportunities and report to relevant stakeholders.
•Coaching: Provide support to less experienced engineers on first tasks.

Key Requirements

•BSc degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
•Experience in technical industry and/or semiconductor industry preferred
•Experience using computer applications, including data analysis tools, spreadsheet, and presentation software
•Knowledge of product functionality for main modules/sub-modules
•Field service experience or ability to work independently/with limited supervision
