Job Summary

Redesign, rewrite, and deploy data/application pipelines to improve scalability, performance, and reliability. You’ll analyze current ETL/workflows, optimize for fault tolerance, and build automated CI/CD deployment processes with strong version control, documentation, and validation. Work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure smooth cutover, migration, and rollback, then monitor production pipelines and troubleshoot issues.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze existing pipelines (ETL/data/process workflows) to identify gaps and improvement areas.
•Design and rewrite pipelines using modern frameworks, tools, and best practices.
•Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
•Implement automated deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and ensure version control and documentation.
•Validate pipelines (unit/integration/system) prior to deployment, then monitor deployed pipelines and troubleshoot post-deployment issues.

Key Requirements

•Strong experience in pipeline development for ETL/data or application pipelines.
•Hands-on experience with tools such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Apache Airflow, Jenkins, or similar.
•Proficiency in programming/scripting (Python, SQL, Shell, etc.).
•Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment automation.
•Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) with strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
