Job Summary

Execute and negotiate securities lending and borrowing transactions across APAC markets, optimizing revenue while minimizing costs. Manage and grow the securities lending book by identifying trading opportunities, monitoring real-time market conditions, and resolving equity segregation deficits and securities/stock loan fails. Build relationships with prime brokers, represent the firm to counterparties and vendors, and support strategic decisions while operating and improving in-house SLB systems.

•Execute and negotiate securities lending and borrowing transactions across APAC markets to optimize revenue and minimize costs.
•Actively manage and grow the securities lending book by identifying and capitalizing on trading opportunities.
•Monitor real-time market conditions and adjust trading strategies based on demand, supply, and pricing dynamics.
•Track and resolve exchange- and stock loan-related fails, including equity segregation deficits and stock recalls.
•Evaluate and enhance in-house systems/processes and support strategic local decision-making with relationships to prime brokers and counterparties.

Key Requirements

•Minimum Bachelor’s degree with strong knowledge in Mathematics, Science, Accounting, Finance, or Business.
•Two years minimum experience in the Asian securities lending industry.
•Strong comfort with computers/technology and ability to quickly master proprietary Treasury and SLB platforms.
•Intermediate to high proficiency in MS-Excel and solid math/problem-solving skills.
•Professional English skills, detail-oriented approach, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a small-team environment.
