Key Responsibilities

  • •Control concrete production from raw ingredients and additives according to predetermined specifications using computer batching software.
  • •Verify admixtures and dosages, and adjust batching weights/quantities to maintain required specifications.
  • •Ensure safe operations by following OSHA/MSHA requirements and company policies, including wearing required PPE.
  • •Receive and inspect raw materials, monitor plant inventories (cement, flyash, admixtures), and keep required records and logs.
  • •Oversee central mix plant cleaning and perform/coordinate plant maintenance and preventive maintenance; inspect equipment and facilities and relay issues to the supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum high school or GED required.
  • •Previous related experience as a Batch Plant Operator; knowledge of mix designs and components is desirable.
