Key Responsibilities

  • •Support water and wastewater treatment projects using standard engineering techniques and procedures under supervision.
  • •Assist with preliminary and detailed process design work (e.g., process design calculations, mass balances, hydraulic profiles, PFDs/P&IDs, layout sketches).
  • •Develop design documentation and working drawings under the guidance of an experienced engineer.
  • •Assist with equipment selection, supplier/vendor coordination, technical reviews, and tender specifications and special provisions.
  • •Contribute to construction services (submittal reviews, RFIs, shop drawings, and site inspections) and prepare technical memos/reports and cost estimate support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for site visits as needed.
  • •Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work independently on defined tasks and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • •Eligible to apply for P.Eng. with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) within four years.
  • •Co-op/internship or project experience supporting water or wastewater treatment processes, plus ability to analyze technical data and write clear reports.
