Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle raw materials from storage to intake stations and load them into process equipment using different intake stations.
  • •Monitor and troubleshoot packaging systems, completing tasks such as labels, silo filling, final packaging, and batch sampling.
  • •Work unsupervised at intake stations, using forklifts for materials transport and monitoring packaging systems.
  • •Monitor equipment and production process parameters, record process conditions/actions, and report disturbances to the Lead Operator or Shift Manager.
  • •Take samples of raw materials and finished goods, analyze them, perform minor maintenance, and support larger maintenance as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • •6+ months’ production experience preferred, preferably in premix, nutritional supplements manufacturing, or a GMP-related industry.
  • •Ability to operate computers, including MS Office (Word, Excel) and a touch screen.
  • •Forklift experience preferred, including sit-down/stand-up and use of an electric pallet jack.
  • •Ability to lift 50+ lbs repetitively and follow dsm-firmenich Safety, Health, and Environmental policies.
