Key Responsibilities

•Define and operationalize the raw material sourcing strategy, driving material innovation with mill partners and onboarding new suppliers in partnership with Sourcing.
•Lead the Beyond Yoga material sustainability strategy integrated with LS&Co. corporate sustainability goals, ensuring appropriate sustainability testing, performance, and certifications.
•Oversee development and evolution of a comprehensive material portfolio and library, including material spec sheets, test results, and lab dip/color approvals.
•Provide senior-level technical leadership to supplier partners and operate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Design, Product Development, and Sourcing to ensure readiness from concept through production.
•Own the color approval process and oversee sampling through bulk execution with Materials Production, mitigating risk and resolving material and garment lifecycle issues.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 160,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in Material R&D and product development, including textile technology, sourcing, testing, and material quality requirements.
•Advanced education in Textile Technology with strong understanding of performance and technical materials for a performance/active brand.
•Demonstrated ability to influence and lead change management across partners and leadership.
•Solid fabric construction knowledge (woven, knit, yarn, trim) plus clear understanding of dyeing, printing, and finishing techniques.
•Ability to set, schedule, and meet seasonal product development deadlines and deliver on milestone tracking.
