Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the end-to-end strategy and sustainable development of fabrics and trims aligned to long-range planning, multi-year vision, and seasonal priorities.
  • •Define and operationalize the raw material sourcing strategy, driving innovation with mill partners and onboarding new suppliers in partnership with Sourcing.
  • •Ensure materials are market-ready by meeting brand aesthetics, performance, quality, end-use requirements, and relevant sustainability testing/certifications.
  • •Own the color approval process, overseeing lab dips, strike-offs, knit-downs, and handloom approvals in partnership with Design.
  • •Troubleshoot material issues across the sample and production process with suppliers, providing updates to partner teams on fabric/color inquiries, seasonal palettes, and costing.
