Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker II focused on consultative sales and relationship building. After a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and sales/service, you’ll use a financial needs assessment to identify customer needs, cross-sell deposits, loans, and fee-based services, and set appointments for periodic reviews using approved marketing tools. You’ll meet production and customer experience goals while managing risk and confidentiality, and collaborate with business partners through referrals.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions aligned to customer needs.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities, including onsite presentations and community financial literacy events.
•Manage risk by following policies and procedures, escalating concerns, and keeping all business confidential while meeting customer experience and production goals.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•Ability to develop working knowledge of retail policies and procedures to make sound decisions; S.A.F.E. Act registration through NMLS required at time of employment.
