Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead or coordinate early-phase subsea studies from feasibility and concept selection through pre-FEED and FEED.
  • •Develop and mature SURF and subsea field architecture concepts including layouts, routing, tie-ins, constructability, and interface considerations.
  • •Coordinate multidisciplinary input across subsea systems, pipelines, flexibles, umbilicals, structures, flow assurance, integrity, marine operations, and technical safety.
  • •Provide practical SURF engineering input for project and operations teams, including design basis, assumptions, risks, opportunities, and decision support.
  • •Support client discussions and reviews (e.g., HAZID and design/risk reviews) and prepare study deliverables and bid/proposal scope and effort inputs.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven subsea engineering experience and a relevant engineering degree.
  • •Experience leading or delivering subsea engineering, SURF delivery, or multidisciplinary subsea studies.
  • •Strong understanding of subsea systems and their integration across pipelines, flexibles, umbilicals, structures, installation, and operations.
  • •Ability to work with incomplete information in early-phase studies and help clients make robust decisions.
  • •Experience with Norwegian Continental Shelf projects and/or field architecture activities such as routing, tie-ins, installation engineering, pre-commissioning, decommissioning, or brownfield integration.
