Job Summary

Serve as a trusted technical advisor in the MENA region, guiding prospects and customers through evaluating and adopting GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform across the full software development lifecycle. Lead discovery, demos, POCs/POVs, workshops, and technical components of tenders and audits. Partner with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to shape solution architectures, influence platform adoption, and provide customer feedback to Product Management to drive roadmap and growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to demonstrate how GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform meets customer technical and business needs.
•Drive technical evaluations end-to-end, including solution design, POC/POV ownership, workshop design, and technical components of tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
•Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams to shape and execute account strategies for acquisition and expansion across MENA.
•Build and deepen relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, guiding transformation and enabling customers to become advocates.
•Advise customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices while serving as the voice of the customer to Product Management.

Key Requirements

•5+ years engaging with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles, guiding solution design and evaluation.
•Proficiency across the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
•Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms, mapping capabilities to customer use cases.
•Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts, including discussing deployment, security, and operations options with technical teams.
•Experience leading technical evaluations (proofs of concept/value), contributing to tenders or audits, and running workshops or value stream assessments.
