Key Responsibilities

  • •Review detailed mechanical designs, equipment layouts, and technical drawings for cleanroom HVAC, exhaust systems, piping, and utility distribution.
  • •Review 3D models, P&IDs, and mechanical schematics, and prepare/review material specifications for major mechanical components (chillers, AHUs, fans, piping, pumps, valves, compressors, heat exchangers).
  • •Perform sizing, pressure drop, flow rate, pipe stress analysis, and dynamic simulation reviews to ensure system integrity under operational loads.
  • •Assess mechanical infrastructure for critical plant systems (compressed air, steam, vacuum, cooling water) and support foundation, vibration, and mechanical structure design.
  • •Coordinate execution by conducting clash detection and BIM-based coordination with structural, electrical, and process teams; ensure designs comply with relevant standards and provide technical oversight/troubleshooting during project delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized institution.
  • •8–12 years of experience in mechanical design engineering for pharmaceuticals or semiconductor manufacturing.
  • •Proven experience in cleanroom HVAC, semiconductor exhaust systems, and mechanical utilities such as compressors, chillers, process vacuum, UPW, and related systems.
  • •Expertise in using AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360 for design review, coordination, and clash detection.
  • •Strong problem-solving and communication skills for cross-disciplinary coordination, vendor/contractor management, and managing multiple projects.
