Key Responsibilities

•Support JPALS and JPALS-adjacent programs.
•Elicit, derive, and define system- and subsystem-level requirements based on customer specifications and operational concepts.
•Analyze stakeholder needs and translate them into technical, testable, feasible requirements with consistent allocation across hardware, software, and interfaces.
•Develop and maintain requirements in IBM Rational DOORS, including traceability and change impact assessment.
•Define system and subsystem interfaces (ICDs/architecture artifacts) and support verification planning by defining verification methods with test teams.

Key Requirements

•Experience with systems engineering activities such as requirement derivation, interface definition, allocation, integration, requirement sell-off, test procedure development, and results evaluation.
•Proficiency generating and maintaining technical documentation including specifications, ICDs, Test Requirements Documents (TRDs), and Verification Cross-Reference Matrices.
•Proficiency with IBM Rational DOORS and requirements management best practices.
•Proficiency with Digital Engineering tools including DOORS, Cameo, Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, and Confluence.
•Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
