Job Summary

Provide and coordinate outpatient (OBGYN) patient care by assessing needs, implementing and monitoring medical plans, and recording vital signs and findings. Work with physicians and allied health teams to support diagnosis and evidence-based treatment outcomes. Perform essential life support, assist with clinical procedures (including CTG and specified women’s health procedures), and ensure safe admission, transfer, and discharge. Maintain clinical competencies, document patient records, and support patient education and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide and coordinate patient care, educating patients and the public, and offering advice and emotional support to patients and families.
•Assess and identify patient needs; implement and monitor medical plans and treatment while working with physicians and allied health.
•Perform systematic patient assessment and re-assessment; determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes.
•Record vital signs, recognize and escalate abnormalities, and administer medications and treatments while monitoring side effects.
•Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assist with specified OB/GYN procedures, and ensure safe admission, transfer, and discharge.

Key Requirements

•Have an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority.
•Manage their own professional re-licensure.
•Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
•Be willing to work across departments and on call when necessary.
•Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
