Key Responsibilities

  • •Enforce health and safety, environmental, and food safety standards; ensure Safe Systems of Work and compliance with Safety and 5S practices.
  • •Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on schedule and to required standards, using maintenance systems data and MMS principles tools.
  • •Provide electrical and mechanical resource to the operations team and coach operators on autonomous maintenance and machine set-up optimization.
  • •Support capital work including installation, commissioning, and testing, and feed into early equipment management.
  • •Use SAP to report and record completion, review RCM activity weekly, participate in SIC/Tier 1 processes, and drive issue resolution using structured problem-solving methods.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years’ experience performing maintenance tasks in a manufacturing facility.
  • •Prefer completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a mechanical or electrical degree.
  • •Higher National Certificate level qualification (or equivalent) within an FMCG industry.
  • •Ability to understand asset performance and maintenance philosophy, with strong process improvement and root-cause problem-solving skills.
  • •Multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical, with the ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team with good communication skills.
