Key Responsibilities

  • •Support senior and lead electrical engineers with electrical design for wastewater and water infrastructure/treatment projects.
  • •Produce electrical deliverables including power supply capacity assessments, load calculations, single line/cable block diagrams, and cable calculations/schedules.
  • •Develop specifications for lighting, and Motor Control Centres (MCC)/control panels including Instrumentation, Control and Automation (ICA) scopes.
  • •Produce electrical specification documents and provide timely reporting to clients and internal team leads.
  • •Use digital solutions in the design process, working with tools such as BIM, ProjectWise, and intelligent P&IDs while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Requirements

  • •MEng in Electrical Engineering (2:1 or above, or equivalent) would be preferred.
  • •Basic computer skills essential (Word/Excel) and good report writing skills.
  • •Willing and able to work towards professional qualifications such as Chartered or Incorporated Engineer.
  • •Enthusiastic, hard-working, technically proficient, with ambition and drive.
  • •Demonstrable interest in water projects.
