Key Responsibilities

  • •Welcome and acknowledge Vinyl Room members, Live Nation executives, and VIPs to deliver exceptional guest service.
  • •Prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications, and suggest wines and pairings that complement food menu items.
  • •Serve responsibly by requesting proper identification for guests appearing under 30 and refusing further service when guests are too intoxicated.
  • •Suggestively sell both beverages and menu items, prioritize and organize drink orders, and deliver food and beverage orders promptly.
  • •Perform opening/running/closing duties, prepare guest checks and process payments, maintain bartender bank, and record equipment failures or safety hazards in the bar log.

Key Requirements

  • •Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training certification (or equivalent) and state/county licensee certification requirement.
  • •Minimum 2 years bartending experience in an upscale dining and nightlife establishment.
  • •Strong working knowledge of beverages and ability to uphold venue beverage culture and standard recipes.
  • •Cash handling experience and ability to pass a pour test and a mixology drill (timed).
  • •Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety-minded manner while using interpersonal communication and teamwork.
