Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain mechanical BIM models that support design and construction workflows.
  • •Support design creation for HVAC systems, chilled water distribution, ventilation, and smoke management systems.
  • •Generate technical drawings and schedules from BIM models.
  • •Support clash detection by preparing models and maintaining model quality and consistency.
  • •Ensure compliance with project BIM execution plans and support BIM team model development tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 2 years’ experience in BIM modelling within a building services environment.
  • •Knowledge of mechanical building services systems and how they are represented in BIM.
  • •Proficiency in BIM software including Revit (MEP specialism), AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  • •Understanding of BIM Level 2/LOD standards and familiarity with mechanical engineering software such as Carrier HAP and IES Virtual Environment (preferable).
