Job Summary

Provide technical support and operational ownership for EDA and CAD design environments, helping engineering teams stay productive and systems run reliably. Manage EDA tools (e.g., Ansys, Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics), maintain Linux/Unix-based CAD infrastructure, and oversee an LSF simulation cluster. Build and support engineering dashboards for usage and health metrics, improve workflows with automation/AI, and manage revision control systems (Git/SVN).

Key Responsibilities

•Provide EDA tool support, including installation, configuration, and maintenance for tools such as Ansys, Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics.
•Develop and manage CAD environments to ensure high availability and performance for design teams.
•Build, maintain, and enhance engineering dashboards covering project status, license usage, cluster utilization, infrastructure health, and operational metrics.
•Support AI-enabled automation and workflow improvements for EDA support, knowledge retrieval, license monitoring, and operational triage.
•Maintain and operate revision control systems (Git, SVN) and the LSF simulation cluster, diagnosing and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•10+ years of experience supporting EDA tools or managing CAD environments in the semiconductor industry.
•Proficiency with EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Ansys, Mentor Graphics), LSF cluster management, and Linux/Unix environments.
•Experience with revision control systems (Git, SVN) and scripting for automation (Python, Perl, Shell).
•Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, with clear communication to non-technical teammates.
