Job Summary

Maintain and repair company vehicles and equipment to ensure maximum operating efficiency. Diagnose issues and perform troubleshooting, inspection, lubrication, light electrical and PM service, and validate equipment inspections for safe operations. Complete repair orders in a timely manner, keep records of repairs, and escalate heavy-duty repairs to the designated repair service company. Work across a variety of makes, models, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure vehicles and equipment operate at maximum efficiency through troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and servicing.
•Inspect belts, hoses, and mechanical systems and perform lubrication, light service, electrical service, and PM service.
•Perform and validate equipment inspections to support safe operations and handling.
•Keep records of repairs performed and complete work/repair orders in a timely fashion.
•Refer heavy-duty repairs to the designated repair service company and work on a variety of equipment makes and models.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Minimum 2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas) strongly preferred.
•Strong Microsoft Office skills.
•Ability to handle a physical workload involving frequent standing, bending, turning, squatting, and use of hand tools.
•Ability to communicate professionally and demonstrate troubleshooting, problem-solving, and task prioritization skills.
