Principal Software Engineer - Relevance in ES|QL - Elasticsearch

Lead initiatives within Elasticsearch’s Elasticsearch-Search team to deliver a world-class search engine focused on speed and relevance. Build new search features, fix complex bugs, and make the codebase easier to understand, including inventing algorithms/data structures when needed. Collaborate with a globally distributed team and community contributors, apply deep expertise in search relevance, and write idiomatic modern Java as Elasticsearch is 99.8% Java.
