Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a team responsible for payroll preparation, processing, validation/review, and disbursement.
  • •Oversee centralized payroll department activities, including payroll system maintenance and installation of system modules.
  • •Update payroll systems to handle new requirements, including tax law changes, and establish system controls and procedures.
  • •Coordinate payroll activities across month-end/quarter-end/year-end cycles, including payroll tax and accounting reconciliations and W-2 preparation.
  • •Provide resolution for escalated payroll and payroll accounting issues and assist with government reporting and tax-related deadlines and filings.
