  • •Identify, develop, and justify commercialization opportunities in power electronics, power converters, and power systems.
  • •Create and prototype innovative power conversion and control concepts for electrical, industrial, automotive, truck, and aerospace applications.
  • •Lead hardware and magnetics design and testing for medium-voltage solid-state transformer projects.
  • •Collaborate with product and engineering divisions to support technology development and successful transfer.
  • •Support project planning (budgeting, resources, schedule), coordinate distributed teams, and contribute to IP generation through disclosures and patents.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in engineering; Ph.D. highly preferred (Ph.D. with 0-3 years experience / Master’s with 5+ years experience).
  • •Broad understanding of power electronics technologies and their application in power conversion.
  • •Extensive magnetics experience for power electronics (e.g., high-frequency transformer/inductor, CT, hall sensor).
  • •Experience with power semiconductor devices, gate drive, thermal management, and power converter topologies (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC).
  • •Experience with control algorithm implementation/verification on embedded platforms and EMI/EMC analysis and filter design.
