Job Summary

Maintain and repair pump, power, and HVAC equipment at the Advanced Solutions rental facility in Niagara Falls, using technology to create and track work orders and diagnose root causes. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors. Troubleshoot failures in the shop and at customer sites, document work daily, and support training of lower-level technicians.

Key Responsibilities

•Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
•Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
•Diagnose equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and complete repairs.
•Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, individually or with another technician.
•Maintain daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) and assist with equipment/parts pick-up and delivery.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 17 - 38 hourly

Key Requirements

•Must own tools applicable to the position.
•Advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
•Experience performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
•Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, and read schematics.
•EPA 608 certification preferred; if not held, ability to obtain within 6–12 months of employment.
