Job Summary

Oversee day-to-day completion of construction projects, leading laborers and equipment operators to deliver storm utility, dirt/earth work, and concrete work. Partner with the Project Manager and Superintendent for timely instructions, coach crew members, and ensure work follows owner plans and field layout. Monitor compaction, quality, and job site cleanliness, maintain time/material records for daily job costing, and perform equipment/operator duties when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead crews in safety culture and help ensure a safe working environment.
•Coordinate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to meet timely, job-specific instructions.
•Supervise, train, and coach assigned personnel; oversee equipment operators and laborers to follow field layout and plans.
•Supervise compaction and quality (including handwork, ride-ability, and overall aesthetics) and maintain clean, orderly job sites.
•Maintain time and material records for daily job costing and notify leadership when job conditions change from prior instructions.

Key Requirements

•Supervise/lead crews supporting storm utility, dirt/earth work, and miscellaneous concrete work, including day-to-day project completion and safety culture.
•Related construction experience (minimum 5 years desired) with knowledge of materials and equipment used for the work.
•Be able to read, interpret, and follow owner’s plans and specifications, with mathematical understanding for grades, slopes, and yields.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and willingness to learn new software systems as needed.
•Pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check and provide valid I-9 immigration documentation.
