Job Summary

Accelerate electronic payments acceptance growth across Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, and Bulgaria by building commercially driven partner relationships. Own strategic acceptance initiatives with acquirers, PSPs, merchants, and fintechs, develop business cases, and support execution of commercial agreements. Analyze market opportunities, segment merchants and industries, and drive cross-sell and upsell of Visa products and Value-Added Services to deliver measurable adoption and preference results.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with internal Visa teams to identify, develop, and execute opportunities driving acceptance growth across the RCSB cluster.
•Build and maintain relationships with acquirers, payment service providers, merchants, and ecosystem partners to support sustainable market expansion.
•Own strategic acceptance development initiatives across Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, and Bulgaria, ensuring delivery against business objectives.
•Identify, assess, and prioritize new business opportunities, including cross-selling and upselling Visa products and Value-Added Services (VAS).
•Analyze market opportunities and monitor trends and competitor activity; support preference initiatives and marketing activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field; an advanced degree (Master's or MBA) is an advantage.
•Strong experience in merchant acceptance, acquiring, merchant services, payments, financial services, consulting, or business development in a client-facing commercial environment.
•Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, including acquirers, PSPs, merchants, acceptance technologies, transaction flows, and third-party partners.
•Proven success developing and executing acceptance growth strategies that increase electronic payment adoption, merchant sales volume, market share, and Visa preference.
•Ability to build and manage strategic relationships with acquirers, PSPs, merchants, and partners; strong communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
