Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect and analyse data to support transport planning work.
  • •Develop transport strategies and plans for transport schemes.
  • •Develop and apply transport models for projects.
  • •Help prepare scheme appraisals, transport assessments, and business cases.
  • •Assist in preparing reports, presentations, bids, and proposals, and attend meetings and workshops with clients and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Economics, Maths, or an MSc in Transport Planning with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or above.
  • •Interest in Transport Planning and developing a career in the industry.
  • •Willing and able to work towards chartership with the TPS, CIHT, or ICE.
  • •Good Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients in writing and verbally, and to explain and discuss technical issues.
