Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely and efficiently operate live haul trucks to transport live birds and support timely delivery.
  • •Operate and maintain commercial hauling equipment and ensure proper documentation and communication.
  • •Conduct equipment inspections and report issues to the Supervisor.
  • •Operate trucks to maintain product quality and integrity, including following weighing guidelines.
  • •Operate forklifts to load trucks at contract growers and maintain strict biosecurity and animal welfare while keeping work areas clean and orderly.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Class A commercial driver license (CDL).
  • •12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience within the past 36 months.
  • •No positive test for drugs or alcohol in the past 5 years.
  • •Ability to operate a manual CMV.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively, follow written and verbal directions, and use required PPE while maintaining safety.
