Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, loaders, cranes, and rough-terrain vehicles to move and transport vehicles and heavy cargo.
  • •Support equipment turn-in operations by staging, loading, and unloading items between staging, inspection, and storage areas while complying with Army and DOT standards.
  • •Perform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) before, during, and after equipment use and coordinate repairs per Army technical manuals and site procedures.
  • •Maintain operator logs, equipment inspection records, usage reports, and update movement logs for audit readiness under ISO 9001:2015.
  • •Provide status updates to supervisors and the Transportation Coordinator and coordinate with supply technicians, material coordinators, and truck drivers to ensure smooth movement of equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •2–4 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a military or contractor environment.
  • •Ability to perform Operation and PMCS on forklifts, loaders, and rough-terrain material handling equipment.
  • •Must have a valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle insurance and a real ID.
  • •Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Tier1/NACI (Public trust) background eligibility.
  • •Proficiency reading and following Army technical manuals (TMs) and work orders, with strong safety, attention to detail, and accountability.
