Job Summary

Maintain and repair production equipment, tools, and machinery under direction of the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic. Install, adjust, and repair machines; operate hand and power tools for tasks like welding, cutting, greasing, and part replacement. Diagnose malfunctioning machinery, coordinate with the head mechanic, and ensure electrical components are installed and tested. Dismantle equipment with hoists/cranes and keep parts clean and lubricated to maintain proper operation.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and repair equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic.
•Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and special purpose machines.
•Operate hand and power tools to perform repair work such as greasing, welding, cutting, and parts changes.
•Test malfunctioning machinery, determine repairs, and coordinate approval with the head mechanic.
•Install and test equipment and electrical components; dismantle equipment to remove defective parts and lubricate/clean components.

Key Requirements

•At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting performing manufacturing maintenance.
•Previous experience in plant machine maintenance.
•Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems.
•Ability to trouble shoot PLC’s.
•Welding experience is preferred (can work around if not).
