Key Responsibilities

  • •Support patients and families in transforming maladaptive eating patterns into a healthy relationship with food.
  • •Develop and implement individualized nutrition treatment plans, including nutrition assessments, meal plan prescriptions, and target weight range assessments via telehealth.
  • •Guide exposure to fear/challenge foods and educate families to alleviate nutrition-related concerns.
  • •Communicate the meal plan and nutrition directives clearly to the interdisciplinary team and maintain a therapeutic alliance with families.
  • •Maintain thorough electronic medical record documentation and update treatment plans weekly based on patient progress and needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum bachelor’s degree with nutrition coursework accredited or approved by ACEND.
  • •Licensed RDN required.
  • •Prefer eating disorder experience and exposure to family-based eating disorder treatment approaches.
  • •Manage a caseload of up to 80 patients with availability for direct patient care.
  • •Strong communication and collaboration skills working on interdisciplinary teams.
