Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage the site’s production operations to meet safety, quality, service, cost and sustainability targets.
  • •Develop and implement a site operational strategy aligned with the broader business goals and drive continuous improvement across production processes.
  • •Manage and develop staff through robust people management processes, addressing grievances, absence and performance issues.
  • •Oversee cost of conversion and drive standardisation and improvements in operational activity.
  • •Analyze production performance data to identify gaps, trends and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record of leading large teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • •Strong leadership and people-management skills with ability to develop and mentor staff
  • •Experience in health and safety, quality systems, and continuous improvement (Lean/5S)
  • •Biotechnology/fermentation experience is highly desirable, 5-10 years of relevant experience
