•Lead and supervise character asset creation for show production, providing creative and technical guidance across modeling through final CFX.
•Define creative and technical approaches to ensure character appeal and performance capabilities align with vision and requirements.
•Drive character reviews and deliver actionable feedback to Modeling, Surfacing, Rigging, and CFX teams.
•Translate 2D character concepts into production-ready 3D space through close collaboration with directors, production designers, art directors, and VFX supervisors.
•Partner with technical supervisors and pipeline teams to optimize asset-creation tools and maintain standardized workflows while mentoring and supporting supervisors and artists.

Key Requirements

•At least 10 years of experience creating character assets for film, TV, or games, including 5–7 years in a leadership or supervisory role on large-scale animated features or VFX films.
•Deep knowledge of modeling, rigging, surfacing, and CFX workflows, including skeletal systems, skinning, and deformation principles for character animation.
•Production-level proficiency in Maya and ZBrush, plus texturing tools such as Substance, Mari, and Photoshop.
•Familiarity with Houdini, Katana, and RenderMan, and understanding of the 3D animation pipeline including USD and real-time workflows.
•Experience using project management and production tracking systems such as Flow Production Tracking (ShotGrid), with strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
