Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations (air, water, waste) and support environmental program enhancements.
  • •Review, update, and train teams on site-specific response plans (SPCC, FRP, Security), and conduct field safety evaluations and environmental inspections.
  • •Manage Tier II reporting and remediation activities through inspection, sampling, and closure.
  • •Partner with Operations during external regulatory inspections (EPA, DOT) and internal audits, including multi-media assessments and Maximo PM reviews.
  • •Lead or support incident and accident management (spill reporting, investigations, root-cause analysis) and participate in safety programs like MOC, Industrial Hygiene monitoring, and driver safety initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Science, or a related technical field.
  • •5–7 years of experience strongly preferred (industry certifications may substitute).
  • •Strong knowledge of Federal and State regulations for pipeline, terminal, and trucking operations, with familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and PHMSA requirements.
  • •Ability to influence, coach, and collaborate across teams, with strong communication skills.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to obtain a TWIC credential.
