Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a subject matter expert, overseeing laser and related processes with a focus on continuous improvement and maintaining ongoing high-volume production.
  • •Optimize high-power ablative laser processes for tight process control.
  • •Design and implement data collection and process control systems in collaboration with our software and database teams.
  • •Maintain process ownership over released production processes and equipment to monitor for sustained performance.
  • •Recommend and lead process improvements to enhance ongoing performance and yield.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree or relevant industry experience in Materials Science, Applied Physics (materials, laser, or optics focus), or Engineering with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • •Experience with mass production of diamond, semiconductors, and/or ceramics.
  • •Experience in data analysis, Six Sigma, and statistical process control.
  • •Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new environments, tools, and workflows.
  • •Experience with resolving laser process technical problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
