Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop high-quality detailed civil design packages and provide engineering procurement support to implement those designs.
  • •Provide field technical support and engineering expertise for troubleshooting and technical assessments of plant facilities.
  • •Perform walkdowns in existing plant facilities to generate design documents and support craft personnel.
  • •Apply civil engineering principles, theories, and concepts using established engineering practices, codes, and standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited school with 20+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 19+ years of experience.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface effectively with clients, production/support organizations, management, and hourly wage employees.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy clearance; must be able to obtain/maintain a DOE Q clearance.
  • •Pre-employment drug screen and completion of post-offer, pre-employment drug test for external applicants.
  • •Must be willing to work in a production environment and be familiar with consensus design codes.
