Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise employees involved in production/operation functions (assembly, inspection, test, and final test) for manufacturing capital equipment and related components/subsystems.
  • •Prioritize production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and materials requirements; track organization performance metrics and run milestone meetings.
  • •Improve cycle-time performance and other operational metrics; ensure timely response to issues affecting customer satisfaction and conformance to customer/vendor requirements.
  • •Manage training and documentation for department employees (including temporaries), including Environmental, Health and Safety training and safety policy compliance.
  • •Manage performance management, set team/individual goals, implement employee development plans, and handle employee selection, hiring, reward, and discipline; drive Lean/Safety/Quality and corrective actions.
