Job Summary

Lead AMS engagements for UK public sector clients, combining pre-sales subject-matter expertise with solution design, transition planning, and delivery governance. Partner with sales and delivery teams to qualify opportunities, respond to RFIs/RFPs/ITTs, build service and operating models, and present costed solutions and commercial recommendations. Ensure SLAs, outcomes, and governance are consistently met, while supporting resource planning and reusable AMS assets.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as AMS subject matter expert for public sector opportunities and support qualification with sales and account teams.
•Lead responses to RFIs, RFPs, and ITTs, including written bid responses and bid reviews.
•Design AMS solutions including service/support scope (L2/L3), operating models (onshore/offshore/nearshore), tooling/automation, and security/compliance approach.
•Mobilise and transition new AMS engagements by defining governance, SLAs, KPIs, reporting, and ITIL-aligned service management processes.
•Provide delivery assurance across AMS engagements and act as an escalation point for service, commercial, or delivery risks.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience in Application Management Services (AMS) / managed services roles.
•Extensive experience working with UK public sector clients (central government, local government, health, or arms-length bodies).
•Hold or be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC).
•Strong understanding of UK public sector procurement processes (RFI, RFP, ITT frameworks).
•Proven experience in AMS solutioning/estimation, pre-sales support and bid leadership, service transition, and delivery governance and assurance.
