Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze IOCs and TTPs from the Latin America Threat Landscape, including regional threats like banking trojans and remote access trojans.
  • •Craft, maintain, and document detection opportunities within the Threat Intelligence platform.
  • •Manage information and details related to threat actor TTPs and Opsec.
  • •Correlate and research findings to create compelling, context-rich alerts for customers.
  • •Use MITRE ATT&CK to map observed threat actor activity to tactics, techniques, and procedures while developing mitigation and countermeasure strategies.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong interest in investigating cybercrime with the goal of combating and mitigating its impact.
  • •Understanding of the LATAM threat landscape and knowledge of cyber threats such as ransomware, initial access broker, banking trojan, remote access trojan, and fraudsters.
  • •Experience analyzing the cybercrime community and profiling threat actors, including dark web ecosystems and underground market dynamics.
  • •Ability to analyze IOCs and TTPs and correlate research to produce context-rich, actionable alerts.
  • •Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash) plus knowledge of network technologies and OS architecture.
