Job Summary

Design and deliver electrical infrastructure for next-generation AI cluster deployments, translating AI/rack power needs into safe, scalable facility architectures. Own electrical design criteria and Basis of Design (BoD) across utility service, MV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear, UPS/generators, busway, grounding, metering, protection, and controls. Partner with multidisciplinary teams and external colocation/EPC stakeholders to validate designs, resolve technical issues, and support commissioning while improving global data center standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain electrical design criteria, specifications, standard details, and Basis of Design documentation for data center deployments.
•Translate AI system, rack, and cluster power requirements into facility electrical architectures with capacity, redundancy, selectivity, and maintainability.
•Partner with internal engineering and manufacturing teams to define power interfaces and deployment requirements.
•Design and review utility service, medium-voltage/low-voltage distribution, transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, busway, PDUs, and rack-level power distribution.
•Perform or review electrical studies (load flow, short-circuit, protective coordination, arc-flash, grounding, harmonic, and voltage-drop) and support commissioning/operational readiness.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
•7+ years of electrical engineering experience supporting mission-critical, hyperscale, colocation, semiconductor, industrial, or similarly complex facilities.
•Strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage power distribution, transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, busway, grounding, protection, metering, and rack power systems.
•Experience developing or reviewing electrical Basis of Design documents, specifications, one-line diagrams, calculations, and technical submittals.
•Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, and UL/NEMA requirements with applicable electrical safety practices.
