Key Responsibilities

  • •Build production-grade Python modules for Excel ingestion, template parsing, data transformation, validation, and dataset consolidation.
  • •Develop backend services, APIs, and Azure Function-based pipelines to move data from Excel uploads (SharePoint/ADLS) into databases for downstream reporting.
  • •Implement business rules, exception reporting, version control, and audit trails according to the technical design.
  • •Write clean, testable, well-documented code with strong unit test coverage and actively participate in peer code reviews.
  • •Operationalize ML models with inference APIs, batch scoring jobs, and result-persistence layers; troubleshoot production issues and support go-live hypercare.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years hands-on Python 3.10+ development with strong OOP and modular design using pandas and NumPy.
  • •Strong Excel handling experience with openpyxl, pandas, xlrd/xlwings, and complex structures (merged cells, formulas, pivot tables, named ranges).
  • •Experience building APIs and consuming REST APIs using Streamlit and FastAPI or Flask.
  • •Proficiency with Git and CI/CD practices (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) including pull requests and branching strategies.
  • •Testing experience with pytest and strong unit/integration test practices.
