Key Responsibilities

•Lead the identification, pursuit and conversion of new business opportunities across the North East and wider UK, developing strong client relationships and guiding bids and negotiations.
•Act as Project Director on key projects, accountable for delivery to time, cost and quality, with full responsibility for commercial performance, financial management, risk governance and multi-disciplinary coordination.
•Lead, mentor and develop teams within the Newcastle office and wider region, supporting recruitment, retention and capability development.
•Take accountability for project and regional financial performance, including revenue generation and profitability, forecasting, pipeline development and reporting.
•Provide senior technical oversight in contaminated land, hydrogeology or remediation, driving technical excellence and knowledge sharing across the business.
