Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and continuously optimize TikTok LIVE core services to improve system quality and engineering efficiency.
  • •Support stability initiatives including disaster recovery architecture design, monitoring enhancements, and fault detection/recovery.
  • •Drive service architecture governance by identifying systemic risks and pushing architecture evolution and engineering standards.
  • •Participate in AI-driven system architecture evolution by designing and developing AI-friendly service architectures and data pipelines.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, with solid foundations in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking.
  • •Proficient in at least one backend language (Go, Java, C++, or Python) and familiar with microservices and common software architecture patterns.
  • •Strong logical thinking and problem decomposition skills to independently analyze complex problems and drive resolution.
  • •Technical curiosity and a self-driven learning mindset with a fundamental understanding of systems.
  • •Good communication and collaboration skills with a strong sense of engineering ownership.
