Key Responsibilities

  • •Own positioning, messaging, segmentation, and competitive narrative for Forge and the developer platform, developing POVs on AI-enabled development, APIs, MCP, agents, and evolving workflows.
  • •Lead developer marketing strategy and GTM for TEAM for Builders, defining audience, narrative, developer journey, integrations, acquisition, and post-event activation.
  • •Own the strategy for reaching, activating, and growing Atlassian developers by connecting launches, events, advocacy, community, content, and growth into a cohesive developer journey.
  • •Lead GTM for major developer and platform launches, building repeatable launch and adoption motions using stories, content, demos, enablement, and campaigns.
  • •Serve as a senior marketing partner to developer platform product leadership, bring developer and market insight to strategy, and manage AWS MDF investment for Forge.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years across product marketing, developer marketing, developer GTM, platform marketing, integrated marketing, or a combination.
  • •Experience marketing technical products such as developer platforms, APIs, developer tools, integrations, cloud infrastructure, or AI products.
  • •Enough technical fluency to work credibly with Product and Engineering (comfortable learning technical capabilities).
  • •Strong positioning and storytelling skills to simplify complex technical concepts into differentiated narratives.
  • •Experience owning complex launches, developer programs, events, or integrated GTM motions across multiple teams.
