Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with the contractor to develop and maintain a joint risk register, including risk identification, assessment, tracking, and mitigation actions.
  • •Facilitate risk workshops to enable comprehensive discussion of inter- and intra-disciplinary risks.
  • •Oversee integrated Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) model runs and ensure modeling follows Metrolinx practices.
  • •Maintain strong relationships with the Project Co to support consistent quality and compliance in the joint risk register process.
  • •Coordinate with design and construction, estimating and scheduling, independent value assessors, and other stakeholders so the risk register reflects scope and complexity.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, risk management, or a related field.
  • •Professional certifications in risk management.
  • •Minimum 8 years of experience, including at least 5 years supporting the risk management program for a major capital construction project.
  • •Preferred experience in rapid rail and transit risk, including developing the risk register for tunneling and station construction.
  • •Experience facilitating input collection workshops to develop and run an integrated Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) model and presenting results to inform target price and schedule.
