Job Summary

Assist with preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of manufacturing equipment on the 3rd shift. Remove and install machine components, troubleshoot failures, and recommend fixes to keep production running safely and efficiently. Collaborate with Process Technicians and Operators, design/fabricate and weld components or fixtures, conduct test runs, and maintain accurate records while ensuring tools and work areas meet safety standards and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment.
•Remove and install machine components to ensure safe, efficient production equipment operation.
•Troubleshoot systems to identify causes of machine failure and recommend solutions for repair.
•Design, fabricate, and weld machine components or fixtures; record malfunctions and adjustments.
•Perform preventative maintenance and inspections, conduct test runs of adjustments, and maintain cleanliness and safety of tools and work areas.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent).
•At least 5 years of related experience in a fast-paced industrial setting; extrusion or injection molding experience is a plus.
•Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
•Ability to attend off-site training when offered.
•Knowledge of OSHA regulations and strong electric/hydraulic skills, including reading hydraulic/electrical prints and mechanical drawings.
