Job Summary

Software Design Engineer role developing lithography software for ASML’s high-tech semiconductor equipment. Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the development of the lithography product line by redesigning, creating and testing sub-systems within system specifications, costs and planning constraints.
•Lead the software aspects related to repairs and refurbishment of systems and troubleshooting, delivering quick fixes and structural solutions.
•Introduce new technology and design concepts to reform the system and extend the product life cycle.
•Support Manufacturing and Customer Support to meet output and quality requirements and provide high-end troubleshooting.
•Develop and implement software aspects of customer specials in close cooperation within the multidisciplinary team.

Key Requirements

•5 years of experience in software designs, repairs, and refurbishments of multi-disciplinary equipment (e.g., measurement tools, positioning systems, handling systems).
•Embedded software experience in conjunction with hardware components, with C programming and VxWorks.
•Experience defining (re-)design requirements, implementation, and qualification for complex systems.
•Experience with Unix/Linux environments, networking, and sysadmin tasks (installing software, configuring and maintaining OS, monitoring and resolving software issues).
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Mathematics or equivalent.
