  • •Deliver end-to-end solutions spanning research, prototyping, implementing production software, and testing/operating highly available systems.

  • •Support and coach other Applied Scientists by sharing applied research knowledge and expertise.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a Master’s or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field, with at least 6 years of applied research experience in algorithm-related software development.
  • •Hands-on experience developing algorithms and predictive models, delivering end-to-end solutions from research and prototyping to production software.
  • •Experience with state-of-the-art software engineering for distributed data processing, including microservice architecture and systems such as Spark and Databricks.
  • •Practical understanding of advanced algorithmic techniques (e.g., combinatorics, graph theory), mathematical modeling (operations research, statistics, experimentation), and machine learning approaches (forecasting, Bayesian networks).
  • •Strong collaboration skills in agile, cross-functional environments with engineers, product owners, and fellow applied scientists.
