Solicit residential mortgage business by building referral relationships with realtors, builders, and community development organizations. Work with the assigned branch to promote home loan products, handle branch referrals, take borrower applications, and analyze financial data to make credit decisions. Maintain underwriting and product knowledge, collect documentation, and coordinate timely delivery of loan packages to the processor while delivering high-touch customer service and completing required compliance training.

•Work with the assigned branch office to ensure awareness of home loan products.
•Handle and follow up on referrals from the branch office.
•Develop referral contacts and participate in community development activities and meetings.
•Interview loan applicants, analyze financial data, and make credit decisions.
•Take borrower applications, collect required documentation, and transmit rates/credit reports/DU responses to the processor for timely loan package delivery.

Key Requirements

•Equivalent of a four-year college degree plus 4 years of related experience (or equivalent combination), with 2 years related management experience.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through NMLS (MU4R questions/registration required).
•Ability to analyze financial data to determine creditworthiness.
•Develop referral contacts with realtors, builders, and professional/personal contacts, including community development organizations.
•Maintain knowledge of loan products, processing procedures, and underwriting guidelines while delivering customer service.
